Uncle Ernie’s Eggs, LLC is a licensed family farm in Veneta, Oregon featuring farm fresh, pasture-raised chicken eggs.

Back before Suttle Road had its name, Ernest Boettger returned home from WW2 with a Purple Heart and a plan. Remaining on the family land, he built a lifelong legacy in poultry farming. His forward thinking designs, hen knowledge and timeworn logbooks, have been passed down to us, and now we get to share that with you. We’re proud to re-establish what he created, in his name. Same land, same care, new generation.

Our flock includes a crew around 300, featuring breeds such as Calico Princess, Black Sexlings and Rhode Island Reds. From dawn to dusk, our hens enjoy the outdoors to graze and play. Inside, ample room lets them move freely and rest comfortably. With a diet of protein-rich grains, fresh greens, kitchen scraps, and 24/7 access to fresh water (an Ernie’s original design!), we aim to keep them happy and healthy.

Our family collects (and admires!) eggs from their nests daily, washes and sanitizes per Oregon regulations, and packages on site.
